Hi-Tech Foams has been exhibiting and offering Confor™ Foam to the aviation public at the Experimental Aircraft Association convention in Oshkosh, Wisconsin since 1978. Our product lines have grown to include insulation foams, vibration and noise control foams, and lumbar supports. We learned of Confor™ Foam (formerly known as Temperfoam™ when we were building a Thorp T18 --actually we built a S18 - wider body.) We wanted to have the best possible seating available both for comfort and safety. We found Confor™ Foam available in much larger quanities than we needed but after talking to other aircraft builders we decided to purchase and offer cut sizes.
